The exhibition was opened by the Minister of Agriculture and Food Dr. Miroslav Naydenov and gathered a large number of visitors. He expressed the importance of the agricultural sector for the country's recovery from the economic crisis and the expected additional resources from the EU for the modernization of agricultural machinery.

BATA AGRO 2011 was attended by 130 companies, including importers and dealers of automobiles, tractors and harvesters, manufacturers of machinery for farming, banks and financial institutions, software companies and others. On its stand, EuroGPS presented its newest product SmartTracker AGRA, which allows effective monitoring of the farming process and provides useful information on the cultivated area. The solution successfully competes with the integrated telematics system in the agricultural machines, but it is offered on a significantly lower price.
