EuroGPS introduced for the first time on the Bulgarian market a system for tracking and control of the separate waste collection.

As a part of an innovative program, EuroGPS installed specific transmitters on 284 dustbins for separate waste disposal placed in one neighborhood in Sofia. Thanks to those transmitters each time when a dustbin is collected by the garbage truck a signal is sent to the main server of the system. The unique solution will help resolving one of the country's main issues. The separate waste collection process will be constantly controlled using EuroGPS SmartTracker's solution by monitoring whether different dustbin types are not collected in one place and whether all dustbins have been collected on time.

After the successful completion of the first stage of the project, EuroGPS expects to expand the solution everywhere in the country.
