ЕuroGPS installs GPS modules on garbage trucks in Municipality of Burgas

EuroGPS has outfitted the garbage trucks in Municipality of Burgas with GPS modules. And what's more, the company has mounted tags on the dustbins in the city, to ensure that the proper types of are be picked up and service is done on schedule. This is a part of the new campaign for separate waste collection in Bugras. The trucks are marked with special signs to indicate the color of the dustbins being collected that day. Thus, the citizens can take part in ensuring the dustbins are maintained properly.

On 24 January 2012 ITS Bulgaria held a round table at the University of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy, Sofia, Bulgaria. The topic of the round table was “Directive 2010/40/ЕU – Key step for the organisation of clean and smart traffic and better road safety”. About 60 people from the government institutions, NGOs, companies, universities and the press participated.
